Can I bring my dog?

As Kinloch Glamping is located on a working farm, we, unfortunately, do not permit any dogs on the property.

Are children allowed?

Yes, children are allowed. We are a child and family-friendly glamp, however, our site has not been ‘child-proofed’ and we expect parents and caregivers to take responsibility for the care and safety of their children at all times while staying at the glamp. There is an outdoor and indoor fireplace, as well as two baths, which you will need to monitor your children around at all times. Please note due to the glamp site being on top of a hill and surrounded by a working farm, we kindly ask that the guests stay within the glamp site fences.
What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is 10 am. You can check-in later than 2 pm, however, we recommend coming as early as possible to make the most of your stay.

Is food provided or do we bring our own?

The kitchen is fitted out with all utensils and equipment you will need to create wonderful meals. We provide breakfast items that include, bread, farm laid eggs from our own chickens, muesli, butter, peanut butter, vegemite, tea, coffee and farm-fresh milk (this is raw milk straight from our cows, meaning it hasn’t been pasteurized or homogenized. The farm operates under strict health and safety guidelines and we personally drink this milk year-round. However, if raw milk is not to your taste, be sure to bring your own). You will also need to bring any other food necessary for your stay. There is a small café and dairy in Kinloch where you can purchase the basics. However, we recommend a trip to the large supermarkets of Taupo before you arrive.
Can we drive all the way to the Glamping site?
Yes. The glamp site can be driven to by any vehicle. We advice no more than 3 cars at a time in the parking area, as it will make turning in the space rather difficult.

Where is the nearest medical centre?
If you have a minor medical incident, there is a first aid kit located in the locker in the bathroom block.
For medical emergencies, please dial 111 and request an ambulance (there is cellphone reception and 4G at the glamp site).
The nearest medical centre is Taupo.
How do I cancel my booking? Can I get a refund?
We offer a full refund if your booking is canceled two weeks or more prior to your booking. Cancellations with less than two weeks notice will be 50% refunded. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded.
How do I change my booking to another night?
Please email us on info@kinlochglamping.nz
What do I do if something goes wrong or I can’t find what I need?
Glamping is the perfect opportunity to unplug and wind down from phones and computers, however we recommend that you still bring your mobile phone just in case. The site is in range for mobile and 4G reception, however the tent is not equipped with electricity to charge devices, so please ensure you conserve your battery in case of emergencies. You are welcome to message or call us at any time during your stay.
